Machine Sewing: Make a Hot Water Bottle Cover

Create your own hot water bottle cover using your machine sewing skills.

We will use scrap and donated fabrics in our designs as a way of exploring how to upcycle and reuse materials. These would make great gifts.

This session is suitable for people who are already familiar with how to use a sewing machine and want to develop their skills.

Materials will be provided, but if you have a sewing machine and want to learn how to get started with it, please bring it with you.

This session will be delivered by Rosie Galloway-Smith, Artist and Workshop Facilitator.

This class will be repeated twice in our summer programme, so you have two date options to choose from.

• This workshop is suitable for those aged 14+. Those under 18 should be accompanied by an adult.
• Unless otherwise specified, all materials will be provided by us.
• Refreshments such as tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.
• Due to the content of some of our activities, you will be required to undertake a Health and Safety briefing before the start of the session. You may be required to wear PPE, such as face shields and gloves. These will be provided by us.
• Please wear weather and activity appropriate clothing and footwear when visiting us.
