Machine embroidery classes with Chris Brewer are back at Hobbysew Figtree. If you have an embroidery machine, and would like to further develop your skills, come along to this monthly class to learn different techniques which will take your projects and gift giving to a new level.
Techniques covered will include machine embroidered applique, In The Hoop (ITH) designs, Free Standing Lace (FSL), stitching on towels and napped fabrics, borders, and stabilisation choices. You are also invited to bring along current or planned projects for discussion with Chris.
You must know the basics of your own embroidery machine (e.g., threading properly, file type required) and be able to transfer purchased designs onto your machine (or have a laptop that you can bring to class so this can be demonstrated to you) and use your machine to embroider an embroidery design.
2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month
