This class, often asked for by members, will guide participants through the process of correctly using the machine cut dovetail setups at the St. Paul branch. While hand cut dovetails have long been the "show off" joint in woodworking, machine cut dovetails are the practical workhorse in drawer and case construction. The Tool Library has two machine cut dovetail setups in St. Paul which instructor John Lunde will teach participants how to correctly and effectively use. With correct instruction you can turn out professional level half blind dovetail joints with these complex machines fairly rapidly.
