Our Presenter: Mike Bell, Chair of the Government Relations & Advocacy Committee for the National Association of Charitable Gift Planners
Mike Bell is President of Mike Bell & Associates, LLC, advisors to nonprofit organizations in philanthropy, strategic planning, constituent engagement, and governance drawing on more than three decades of experience in nonprofit leadership serving health and human service organizations, including senior roles in philanthropy, public policy, marketing and public relations, volunteer program management, foundation administration, and strategic planning. Previously, Mike served as Executive Director of Davis Health System Foundation in Elkins, West Virginia, where he also served as health system director for volunteer services and pastoral care. Prior to joining DHS, Mike served as Executive Director of Suncoast Hospice Foundation in Clearwater, Florida, and Vice President for Community Development at Alive Hospice in Nashville, Tennessee. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, Tennessee, and a Master of Education in Institutional Advancement from Vanderbilt University. Mike also serves as an adjunct professor of nonprofit leadership at Davis & Elkins College and is the Board President of the Randolph County Housing Authority, Secretary of Charitable Gift Planners of West Virginia, and a 2025 Board Member and Chair of the Government Relations & Advocacy Committee for the National Association of Charitable Gift Planners.
