Las Positas College Theater Arts Program presents fall production of William Shakespeare's Macbeth, a thrilling, suspenseful tragedy. The production will run from October 25 to November 2 on the LPC campus at the Mertes Center for the Arts Black Box Theater. Written by William Shakespeare and directed and adapted by Titian Lish, this production of Macbeth is a thrilling story of a courageous warrior who, driven by prophecy and a thirst for power, descends into madness and murder. As Macbeth and Lady Macbeth claw their way to the throne, the haunting consequences of their choices unravel in a suspense-filled spiral of intrigue, supernatural forces, and inevitable doom.
Join us for this epic tale of power and fate for two weekends only, October 25-27 and November 1-3. Showtimes are Fridays and Saturdays at 7 p.m. as well as a Sundays at 2 pm. The Sunday, October 27 matinee showing will be a sensory friendly performance without strobe lighting, smoke, or haze, and with lower sound levels. All other shows will have strobe lighting, smoke, haze, and higher sound levels.
The tickets range in price from $10 to $20 per person and can be purchased online at https://lpc.ludus.com/. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the door.
