Share our journey on a night to remember at the Museum of Art and Culture yapang’s inaugural fundraising gala to be held on 9 November 2024. Hosted by writer and radio presenter Scott Bevan, the gala will be held at the unique site of MAC yapang on the point of Booragul; within our Like New exhibition of recent acquisitions to the permanent collection held onsite at the art museum.
Funds raised through purchase of tickets will directly support:
* The reimagining of our library/ lounge area with views over the Sculpture Park and Awaba (Lake Macquarie)
* Our 2025 newly formed $30,000 art prize
* Support towards our Sculpture Park revitalisation, in particular Greeting Stones by local artist Will Maguire.
The MAC yapang GALA will include a sit-down meal, live entertainment and a silent art auction, with artwork available to view at MAC yapang inOctober 2024. Further information will be made available on the GALA and silent auction in coming weeks.
