Mac Powell, originally from Alabama, moved to Atlanta in high school and soon co-founded the Christian rock band Third Day. Over nearly three decades, the band sold more than 10 million albums, earned four Grammy Awards, an American Music Award, 24 Dove Awards, and was inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame. After their 2018 farewell tour, Powell launched a solo career, releasing New Creation in 2021, which debuted at No. 1 and produced multiple Top 10 hits.
