We will gather at the Walmart Supercentre in South Edmonton Common (1203 Parsons Rd NW, Edmonton, AB T6N 0A9) at 7:30 AM and leave by 8:00 AM sharp to cruise down to Ma-Me-O Beach arriving by 9:00 AM to have breakfast and support the local fire fighters. The breakfast is by donation. Afterwards, we will go to join the local community parade. Every vehicle that comes will be able to participate in the parade!We did this few years ago, it was a big hit with the kids, and I hope we can get lots of nice cars/trucks/bikes to make the parade as long as possible and fun for the kids. The town asked if we could do this again! ?
The breakfast starts at 8:00 AM and all of the money raised goes directly towards the fire department. The parade starts at 11:00 AM and we will prepare to line-up behind the floats at 10:30 AM which will be from the local businesses in the village. There is a dance later in the afternoon if you decide to stay for the day! ??
You are not required to, but it's highly encouraged, that during the parade, we will be throwing out candy ? ? to the kids. If you wish to do this, you can pick up a large bag of candies ? from Walmart to throw out your window to the kids as you go along in the parade. We ran out last time before we finished the parade, so if you can please make sure you have enough candy!
