About this Event
We’re excited to welcome our Métis community special afternoon of cooking, learning, and celebrating Métis culture. Join us for a hands-on traditional Métis cuisine class led by the expirenced Chef Garrett Delorme, where you’ll discover delicious recipes and culinary techniques rooted in Métis heritage.
In this class, we’ll prepare smoked duck breasts topped with a vibrant raspberry sauce, and learn how to smoke meat right from the comfort of your kitchen, and craft flavorful rabbit sausages from scratch. It’s a unique opportunity to connect with community, explore traditional cooking methods, and enjoy a shared meal together.
The class will take place at the Lethbridge Interfaith Co-op Community Kitchen on Sunday, November 16th, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Space is limited, so be sure to register early through the Eventbrite link to reserve your spot.
