Mélodie is the French evolution of what German music had accomplished previously with lieder: it adapts French poetry with voice & piano. There will be at least six singers (and several pianists!) performing some of the best French songs of the 19th-Century. Even better, this concert is absolutely free to attend. Donations will be appreciated, as we hope to use those contributions to keep the piano at St. Luke's Church in excellent condition for future projects. This concert will be a great opportunity to hear stunning classical music and artists from Central Alberta.
