Goth shoegaze? Why not. Po debutu Euphoric Recall (2021) je druhé MØAA album Jaywalker nokturnální dream pop s pulzujícími 909 bicími automaty, zastřenými snovými vokály a v nekonečném reverbu pohřbenými kytarami. Tam, kde na první desce všemu vévodily masivní basové linky se najednou jako dominanta tyčí ‘pop friendly‘ chytlavé refrény a synth plochy, které nezapomínají na to, že tahle hudba je primárně stvořená pro dancefloor. V Seattlu narozená hudebnice Jancy Buffington aka MØAA na obou albech spolupracovala se svojí kolegyní Andreou Volpato, která Jaywalker také koprodukovala, mixovala a nahrávala ve studiu Fox. Od vzniku projektu v roce 2021 byla MØAA headlinerem turné ve Spojených státech, Evropě a Velké Británii, vystoupila na SXSW 2022 a 2024 a sdílela pódium s Yvesem Tumorem, The Dandy Warhols nebo s LA shoegazers Film School. V rámci jejího letošního evropského turné se na sklonku roku 2024 představí i Praze. Bike Jesus je logická volba.

Coming off the back of her gothic shoegaze debut album "Euphoric Recall" released in 2021, MØAA unleashed her second full length album "Jaywalker"; a nocturnal dream pop record featuring pulsing 909 drum machines submerged under catchy hushed vocals and glistening, reverb laden guitars. Fuzzed out bass lines from the first album have been swapped out with fat chorus and throbbing synths built for melancholic dancing. The new album was written entirely by Seattle born musician Jancy Buffington aka MØAA and collaborator Andrea Volpato who co-produced, mixed, and recorded Jaywalker at Fox Studio in Seattle. Since the inception of the project in 2021, MØAA has headlined tours in the United States, Europe, and the UK, performed at SXSW 2022 & 2024 showcase and shared the stage with Yves Tumor, The Dandy Warhols and LA Shoegazers Film School. MØAA also headlined their own Jaywalker album release tours in USA and a European & UK headlining tour in February 2024 to support the new album. Now it’s time for Bike Jesus live debut.
