About this Event
Norwegians eat the most pizza in the world per capita, and Saturday (lørdag) is the favorite night to indulge. Norwegian pizza has some toppings that are distinctly Nordic and distincly delicious.
Join us at Norway House for an afternoon of making Nordic pizza with Teena Anderson, owner of Anoka Meat and Sausage and ra regular on Twin Cities Live and Fox 9 Good Day with her recipes. Attendees will make their own dough, and then top it with the modern ingredients such as smoked salmon, hot honey, shrimp, white sauce with potatoes, bacon and more. Attendees will do some chopping and dicing, while sipping an optional Nordic inspired beverage purchased from our Kaffebar.
This cooking class is designed as a small group cook-along, and invites exchange between the instructor and students in order to build community around food traditions. In this same spirit of sharing, the whole family is invited to experience this collaborative cooking experience.
Please note: Norway House does not offer refunds. Please be sure you can attend on the date for which you registered. If you can't attend, you can transfer your tickets to another person.
