Arna chur i láthair i gcomhpháirt le hÉigse Éireann. Bí linn fá choinne eagrán speisialta de Línte Teorann, ceiliúradh ar an litríocht bheo, focail chomhroinnte, agus ceangal cultúrtha, ar siúl le linn Sheachtain na Gaeilge 2026 i nDoire. Is é ár bpríomhaoi Luke Morgan, a bhfuil Gradam Lawrence O’Shaughnessy 2025 faighte aige agus atá ar dhuine de na filí is iontaí in Éirinn. Léifidh Luke óna bhailiúchán is deireanaí, Blood Atlas (Arlen House, 2025), saothar nua cumhachtach a críochnaíodh le tacaíocht ó Chomhairle Ealaíon na hÉireann. Is é údar é fosta Beast agus Honest Walls (2016), agus is duine den dísréad Éireannach dhuaisbhainteach déanta scannán The Morgan Brothers. Is í a bheas mar bhean an tí ar an oíche Cat Brogan, file ó bhéal a mbreathnaíonn a saothar ar fhéiniúlacht aiteach, an néara-éagsúlacht agus muintearas. Ba í Cat Curadh Chomórtas Beo Filíochta Uladh 2024, buaiteoir Chomórtas Beo Filíochta Fhéile Imill Dhún Éideann, agus tá taispeántas déanta aici ar fud ceithre mhór-roinn. Bhí a cuid filíochta le feiceáil in Skylight 47, Local Wonders de chuid Dedalus Press, agus Cat Flap de chuid Outburst, agus éascaíonn sí go rialta ceardlanna sa scríbhneoireacht chruthaitheach agus imeachtaí liteartha.
Beidh léamha roghnaithe ag an imeacht ó bhaill de This Writing Thing, grúpa scríbhneoirí lonnaithe i nDoire faoi stiúir Sue Divin, ag taispeáint meascán de ghlórtha.

Presented in partnership with Poetry Ireland
Join us for a special edition of Border Lines — a celebration of live literature, shared words, and cultural connection — taking place during Seachtain na Gaeilge 2026 in Derry.
Our headline guest is Luke Morgan, recipient of the Lawrence O’Shaughnessy Award 2025 and one of Ireland’s most exciting contemporary poets. Luke will read from his latest collection, Blood Atlas (Arlen House, 2025), a powerful new work completed with support from The Arts Council of Ireland. He is also the author of Beast (2022) and Honest Walls (2016), and one half of the award-winning Irish filmmaker duo The Morgan Brothers.
The evening will be hosted by Cat Brogan, a spoken word poet whose work explores queer identity, neurodivergence, and belonging. Cat was the 2024 Ulster Poetry Slam Champion, winner of the BBC Edinburgh Fringe Slam, and has performed across four continents. Her poetry has appeared in Skylight 47, Dedalus Press’s Local Wonders, and Outburst's Cat Flap, and she regularly facilitates creative writing workshops and literary events.
The event will also feature curated readings from members of This Writing Thing, a Derry-based writers' group led by Sue Divin, showcasing a mix of voices.
