Biography:
Kate Wakefield, a classically trained opera singer and cellist, spends much of the year on the road with her bandmate Daisy, lighting the stage on fire with their band, Lung. She also has several solo albums and EPs, including this year's new release: Everything Goes Around and Around. Kate is widely known for her unique, live-looping style, layering textured cello and vocal styles with simple percussion to create a musical sound as moving as it is impressive.
