We welcome Andrew McAnerney, Artistic Director of Le Studio de musique ancienne de Montréal, who makes his KWS debut as guest conductor. Our program explores the synergy between the instruments and the human voice that fascinated baroque and classical composers, including Scarlatti, Handel, Vivaldi, and Mozart. Soprano Meghan Lindsay joins the KWS strings for some of the most gorgeous arias ever written, including 'Ombra mai fu' and 'Lascia ch'io pianga'.Lyrical Handel & Vivaldi is curated by Vicky Dvorak.
