April 5 & 6, 10:30am 2025 – LYON’S PUPPET MIXTAPE 2025 at The CherryMeet special guest Lyon Hill with a selection of short marionette, shadow, and experimental puppet shows that are sure to strike a groove. Sometimes loud, sometimes quiet, sometimes sad, sometimes silly – the perfect mix!
Side A: For Families:
1. Whimsical marionettes in a classic cartoon style deliver nursery rhymes with a twist.
2. The Blacklight Bestiary: A toy theatre highlighting magical creatures that glow!

Lyon Forrest Hill (Artistic Director, Puppeteer at the Columbia Marionette Theatre) lives in Columbia, SC with his two sons, Oliver and Huxley. He has been an Artistic Director at the Columbia Marionette Theatre since 1998. His work has been featured at Puppeteers of America National Festivals. His puppet film work earned an UNIMA-USA citation of excellence. A life long love of comics, animation, and illustration informs Lyon’s work. He combines many different puppetry styles to craft stories that explore the magical and the mundane.

Tickets for the kids shows are $12 Adult, $8 ages 3-18, < 2 free. Tickets are FREE for participants of the Big Brother Big Sister program. $1 for anyone with an EBT card (or equivalent).
