Please join us for the next meeting of the Lynchburg Civil War Round Table! We meet at The Summit retirement community on Enterprise Drive in the Wyndhurst area in their community room on the 2nd floor. Our featured guest speaker is Melissa Winn, Director of Marketing and Communications for the National Museum of Civil War Medicine in Frederick, MD. Her presentation is titled "When This You See Remember Me: Portrait Photography and the Civil War." Dinner served by 6:30pm. Please arrive by 7pm is attending for the program only, which will begin shortly thereafter. Dinner reservations required in advance by contacting Kelly Gladden at [email protected]. Please honor your dinner reservation as the LCWRT gets charged for no-shows! $25 for dinner. If a non-member, there is an additional $10 fee for the program to help offset the expense involved in hosting a nationally prominent speaker from outside our area. A book raffle is part of the evening's festivities so if you are interested in possibly picking up a new or gently-used book on the Civil War, please bring some additional cash with you as the raffle tickets are $1 each.
