Bundle up, enjoy a warm beverage, and walk the paths of the Lyman Estate with a knowledgeable guide. We’ll start the tour inside the mansion with coffee, tea, and treats. Then, head outside for a breath of fresh (crisp) air.
Landscape and horticulture were always integral to the estate. This site was home to pleasure grounds, formal gardens, a working farm, greenhouses, and woodlands for over four generations of the Lyman family. See how the grounds have changed over time and explore that which has remained intact in spite of it.
This tour will begin inside the mansion, so meet your guide at the front door or up the ramp.
The greenhouses, one of the oldest surviving complexes in the country, will be open 9:30-4:00. Participants may visit before or after the tour.

We will do our best to avoid icy conditions, but ice is always a possibility. Keep an eye on the weather and consider equipment such as poles or anti-slip footwear if necessary.
