Come watch and enjoy a night of Spoken Word Poetry, Live Music, Culture and Community. Meet your neighbors, the people you share a city with. Be inspired by their stories. Share yours!

Be sure to get there well before the show starts to get yourself good a spot in the front with the nice view before they're all taken! Doors open from 7pm, showtime is at 8pm!
Sit back and enjoy the show along with one of Speakerbox's delicious meals or beverages to wash back a heaping helping of Lylu's World Famous Tom Yum Soup for the Soul.
Open mic slots are available to poets musicians and any other performers but they are limited to 10 slots. Musicians and poets alike are free to make use of the talents of BIG RICHARD BARS, Lylu's house band who will be on standby with the vibes at the ready throughout the night.
We try our very best to accommodate everyone who signs up, so please only plan to perform ONE piece; ONE poem, ONE song, ONE thing. Please be mindful of your time on the mic and keep your performance between 3-5 minutes. If there is time, after everyone has gone, we can call you back onstage after everyone has performed to go again.
