On January 26, 2014 Bangkok Lyrical Lunacy held its Inaugural Open Mic at Overground Bar & Cafe. Since then we have been making the call to poets, singers and storytellers far and wide to take the stage we've set and the ears that gather and use it all to build culture and community!
Come watch the action and enjoy a night of Spoken Word Poetry, Live Music, Culture and Community. Meet people you share a city with. Yes, your neighbors! Be inspired by their stories. Share yours!!

Be sure to get there well before the show starts to get yourself good a spot in the front with the nice view before they're all taken! Doors open from 7pm, showtime is at 8pm!
Sit back and enjoy the show along with one of Speakerbox's delicious meals or beverages to wash back a heaping helping of Lylu's World Famous Tom Yum Soup for the Soul.
Open mic slots are limited. We try our very best to accommodate everyone who signs up, so please only perform ONE piece; one poem, one song, one thing. Keep your performance around 3-5 minutes. If there is time after each performer has gone, we can do a second round and call you back to do another.
