A walk to test our stamina The Lyke Wake Walk is a 42 mile stretch across the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors, ending at the North Sea coast of Ravenscar
The original challenge is to complete it in 24 hours, however ā¦.. walking 40 miles solid does not sound like my idea of fun š¤£
So I will be splitting it over two days ā¦
With a night stay in The Lion Inn ( around the half way mark )

You can choose, however to push on and complete the challenge in the 24 hours instead
We will be meeting at 09:00 at the Quarry Lane Car park DL6 3AL on the Saturday
There is free street parking at the finish point in Ravenscar
Iām hoping we can organise having a car or two at each end
If coming by public transport
Train to Northallerton then number 89 bus to Osmotherley
There is a bus from Ravenscar to Scarborough where you can find a train station š to return home
