A walk to test our stamina The Lyke Wake Walk is a 42 mile stretch across the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors, ending at the North Sea coast of Ravenscar
The original challenge is to complete it in 24 hours, however ….. walking 40 miles solid does not sound like my idea of fun 🤣
So I will be splitting it over two days …
With a night stay in The Lion Inn ( around the half way mark )

Anyone who fancies joining me, i recommend reserving a room early to avoid disappointment 🤗
You can choose, however to push on and complete the challenge in the 24 hours instead
We will be meeting at 09:00 at the Quarry Lane Car park DL6 3AL on the Saturday
There is free street parking at the finish point in Ravenscar
I’m hoping we can organise having a car or two at each end
If coming by public transport
Train to Northallerton then number 89 bus to Osmotherley
There is a bus from Ravenscar to Scarborough where you can find a train station 🚉 to return home
