âš¡ LYDIA LUNCH and MARC HURTADO play the music of Suicide and Alan Vega.
🕶 Musician, writer, photographer and performance artist, Official: Lydia Lunch roared onto the New York music scene in 1977 alongside James Chance in no-wavers Teenage Jesus and the Jerks.
âš¡She's since worked and collaborated with Karen Finley, Hubert Selby Jr, Nick Cave, William Burroughs and Virginie Despentes.
💧Her links with hugely influential chain-swingin' electro punks Suicide stretch back to the 70s; she recorded a version of Frankie Teardrop in 1976.
âš¡Marc Hurtado is a musician and filmmaker, poet, and painter. He has collaborated with cult figures including Michael Gira (Swans), Gabi Delgado (DAF), and Mark Cunningham (MARS).
💥The pair promise a 'sonic assault and visual shamanic ceremony, where both Marc and Lydia will burn their souls in the volcanic heart of the music of Alan Vega and Suicide.'
