The Southeast Ohio History Center Lyceum Speaker Series presents, Bob Placier who will introduce us to the avian fauna of Southeast Ohio at the time of settlement and how those creatures responded to the changes wrought by the arrival and behavior of pioneers from all parts of the eastern colonies, and the countries of Europe. Some species thrive, and some like the passenger pigeon were less successful.The Lycheon Luncheon Speaker Series is a monthly lunchtime opportunity to learn a bit about the rich local history of this region where Ohio began. The brown bag luncheon program is scheduled for Thursday, May 15th at noon at the History Center.
