About this Event
Landworkers Alliance and Better Food Traders have come together to organise this event for our members in the South West, as well as for those working in the agroecological food sector in the region.
Whether you’re a landworker, stallholder, shopkeeper, miller, baker or facilitator of the local/agroecological food economy, this day is for you!
The afternoon/evening event will include:
1pm-4.15pm:
- A tour of Shillingford’s beautiful and extensive organic growing site
- A chance for you to learn more about what BFT and LWA do, and the support we offer our members
- Marketing workshop facilitated by BFT’s exec Director, Julia.
4.15pm-5.15pm (approx):
Optional tour of Shillingford’s shop on Cowick Street- own transport/car share required. Please indicate when booking if you’d like to come on the tour by selecting this as an 'add on' option to your ticket. Due to limited shop capacity this will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
5pm onwards :
Evening drinks around a campfire and camping for those that would like to stay on to socialise or have travelled a long distance. If you would like to camp please select this option as an add-on to your ticket when booking so we know how much space to set aside.
If you can’t make the daytime but would like to pop along for evening drinks around the campfire then we’d love you to join us when you can- please just book a separate evening ticket so we know to expect you and to know how much cider to get in!
