𝗣𝗮𝗿𝟯 is a 𝙨𝙤𝙪𝙡 𝙟𝙖𝙯𝙯 𝙤𝙧𝙜𝙖𝙣 𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙤 that takes stylistic cues from artists of the 60s/70s like Jimmy Smith, Jimmy McGriff and Grant Green but with a contemporary twist using updated grooves and original tunes.This project is the creation of 𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐭𝐭 𝐒𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 of dig (directions in groove) on organ, with the scintillating beats of 𝐈𝐯𝐚𝐧 𝐉𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐧 on drums, and the ultra-tasteful stylings of 𝐒𝐚𝐦 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 on guitar. The repertoire comprises originals, mixed with vintage funky organ Jams, and reinvented versions of classic pop songs.
This is music that is positive, soulful, and most importantly, it grooves!
