𝐌𝐢𝐚𝐨𝐱𝐢𝐧 𝐇𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐠 is a Chinese-Australian jazz vocalist and songwriter. While rooted in the traditional jazz standards, her work explores free improvisation, modern textures, and bilingual lyrics in English and Mandarin.In this quartet, she plays with 𝐄𝐫𝐢𝐜 𝐓𝐬𝐚𝐢 (guitar), 𝐇𝐞𝐧𝐫𝐲 𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐥 (bass), and 𝐊𝐚𝐢 𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐠 (synth). The group steps away from conventional jazz formats, exploring sound with a focus on form, subtlety, and abstract collective motion, allowing space for the imagination to enter.
