Join us for our monthly meeting!SEPTEMBER MEETING INFO
This month, we're excited to be joined by amazing veteran activist and organizer Penn Garvin for an introduction to noncooperation and noncompliance! In this political climate, it's essential for us to know when and how to push back. Penn will share her expertise and help us navigate these complicated times, and then we'll talk about how what we learned from this training connects to the action that we need to take right here in Luzerne County!
Please note: due to the IMMIGRANT RIGHTS RALLY that is taking place on Public Square at 5:30pm, we will be pushing back the start of our meeting to 6:30pm.
It is our hope that this will allow folks who would like to attend both the rally and our chapter meeting/presentation the opportunity to do both. If you're joining on Zoom, please be aware that the Zoom room will open for this month's meeting at 6:30pm instead of our usual 6:00pm. Next month will be back to our regular schedule!
We'll still have our HQ open at 5pm for our social hour for anyone who'd like to just go right to our office.

Let's come together and talk about how we can all deal with what's happening as a community, and learn how to take meaningful steps to fight back. Action IS the antidote, and there are ways we can hold leaders accountable at the local, state, and federal level and fight for the things that we all need - for our families, for our communities, and for our country.

~~Doors open at 5pm for Food & Friends, a social hour where you can catch up with your Action Together friends and make some new ones! Grab a bite to eat and chill for a bit til we get down to business. ~~The business meeting will begin at 6pm, when we will also open our Zoom room for anyone who can't make it in person.
