Am 19. Oktober 2024 um 17:00 Uhr lädt die Luxembourg Philharmonia zu ihrem Herbstkonzert in Grevenmacher ein. Das Orchester, bestehend aus rund 90 Musikern, präsentiert ein abwechslungsreiches Programm mit Werken osteuropäischer Komponisten.Zuerst erklingt das Violinkonzert (1940) von Aram Chatschaturjan. Als Solist konnte der international renommierte Geiger Davide Alogna gewonnen werden, der für seine virtuosen Interpretationen bekannt ist.
Nach einer Pause entführt die Luxembourg Philharmonia das Publikum mit zwei Werken von Alexander Borodin in die Klangwelt Zentralasiens:
– „Eine Steppenskizze aus Zentralasien“ (1882)
– „Polowetzer Tänze“ aus der Oper „Fürst Igor“
Diese Kompositionen zeichnen sich durch ihre lebendigen Melodien und rhythmischen Strukturen aus und zählen zu den bekanntesten Werken Borodins.
