The School was opened with a student intake of sixteen (16) and there were only two (2) tutors and a health educator as the teaching staff. The School now admits once a year, entrance to the School is in October. Entry requirements compare favorably with those for other professional courses. Successful candidates are interviewed by a panel for final selection. The course of study lasts for four (4) years leading to the award of Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Midwife (RM)/Registered Public Health Nurse. The school is headed by Director Nursing Education/Principal. Currently, the School is one of the best approved and recognized School of Nursing in Nigeria. Entry Requirements for ND in Nursing Programme
To qualify for the ND in Nursing programme, candidates must meet the following academic requirements:
* O’Level Credentials: You need five (5) credits at O’Level in not more than two sittings, which must include:
* English Language
* Mathematics
* Biology
* Physics
* Chemistry
* JAMB Examination: It is mandatory to sit for the JAMB examination and achieve a satisfactory score. Ensure your JAMB profile/results are updated as this forms a crucial part of your application.
