2024 Fall Jacket SeriesSeptember 16th through November 14th
Series Points awarded as follows:
1st place in any division = 5 points
2nd place in any division = 4 points
3rd place in any division = 3 points
4th place in any division = 2 points
Any contestant not placing 4th or better in any division will receive 1 point (for attendance) each week, even off course or hit barrels.
Points will be accumulated throughout the series and the Top 5 point earners will win jackets after the end of the series. All points are accumulated as one sum total for each horse/rider combo, regardless of which division those points are earned in. A horse who earns points in the 3D some weeks and the 4D some weeks, will still just have one sum total of points on that horse/rider combo. Must compete at 3 or more races to win awards.
$45 Total Entry Eee (includes office fee)
We do take pre-entries for our regular Thursday night jackpots. You don't HAVE to pre-enter, but we are getting up to 50-60 pre-entries some weeks. If you enter on site, you can expect that there may not be any earlier draw spots available as most people pre-entering are asking for early draw spots. We do NOT allow pre-entries for any given Thursday prior to that Monday at 9:00am. Please do not bug Marti prior to Monday at 9am on the week of the race. To pre-enter, text the rider First Name, Last Name, and Horse Name to Marti at 951-733-0596

DIRECTIONS:
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Jackpots are held at George Ingall's Equestrian Event Center at 3737 Crestview Dr, Norco, CA 92860.
The address is on Crestview but the directions are as follows: Take I-15 to the Sixth Street exit in Norco, CA. Head east on 6th street until it dead ends. When the street dead ends you just keep driving straight into a dirt driveway which leads you right into the arena. This chain link gate is labeled as Gate #1. Occasionally during construction this gate is closed and you have to enter off of Crestview Dr. where there are 2 or 3 additional gates to get to the arenas (Gate #6 and Gate #7)

GENERAL THURSDAY NIGHT JACKPOT INFORMATION
-------------------------------------------------------------------
No membership is required, just show up and run. Each Thursday night event is held as a separate event. You are not required to sign-up for a series even if one is currently underway.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
RULES
-------------------------------------------------------------------
The following are city rules and need to be followed so that we can continue having these jackpots.
ALL riders (anyone sitting on a horse) on city property during Thursday Night events are REQUIRED to sign a release of liability. If you have NOT signed one, please see the book-keeper/ gate person prior to getting on your horse. These releases are good for a full year so you only need to sign one once per year.
Riders under the age of 16 are REQUIRED to wear helmets. Please plan accordingly.
NO SMOKING! Ingalls Park is owned and operated by the City of Norco, and all city parks have no smoking policies in effect. However, Ingalls Park has special exemptions to allow smoking in certain designated areas. Smoking is still prohibited in spectator areas. This includes all bleacher areas as well as spectator areas where picnic tables are placed throughout the event center. If you would like to smoke during our weekly Jackpots, please do so out in the parking and driving areas away from all picnic tables, bleachers and any areas where spectators are gathered.
NO DOGS! All dogs MUST be on a leash (City law). No dogs are permitted in the spectator areas including the picnic tables near the arena entrance gates. PLEASE do NOT bring your dogs with you to check-in or sign-up. Our book keeper is terrified of dogs (yes even small fluffy dogs) and she cannot be around them at all, even if they are on a leash. Please leave them at your trailer when you come sing-up or come to the office for any reason.
NO TRASH! Please pick up after yourself and throw all trash into a trash container.
>>>Producer rules:
SUNSET RULE - We often delay the start of our races or schedule a break in the race during the sunset because the sun can interfere with the functioning of the timers or with the horse/rider's vision between the first and second barrel. While we make every effort to anticipate this issue and pause the race if we deem it necessary, it is the sole responsibility of each rider to verify that the sun will not cause them or their horse a problem prior to beginning their run. Each rider and horse is different and what can impact one rider or horse may not impact all riders or horses equally. We will handle any request to pause the race or move your draw number at our discretion upon your request and prior to the start of your run. We will not offer re-runs after you have run so please ask before your run if you think it will be an issue for you or request your draw preference accordingly.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
PATTERN SIZE:
-------------------------------------------------------------------
