Highlighting formative ideas and influences, this talk will explore the progression of Jaray's art and life during the 1960s, with close reference to key works in the exhibition.
Natalie Rudd is a curator, writer and PhD researcher. Formerly Senior Curator of the Arts Council Collection, Natalie has produced many exhibitions of modern and contemporary British art. She has written widely on art and artists including Peter Blake, Tess Jaray, Paul de Monchaux and Veronica Ryan. Natalie’s latest books, The Self-Portrait and Contemporary Art, are published by Thames & Hudson.
This talk forms part of the programme of events complementing the exhibition , which continues at the Millennium Gallery until Sunday 13 October 2024.
