About this Event
This short concert brings a much loved concerto to the heart of the College’s regular series of lunchtime concerts. Most of these feature pupils trialling their latest repertoire, but this concert features staff who wish to share their passion for Bach’s music.
It was at Cöthen that Bach wrote much of his instrumental music, including his violin concertos and his concerto for violin and oboe. The three movements of the Concerto in C minor, BWV 1060, two faster movements framing a central moving Adagio, allow intricate interplay between the two solo instruments.
