About the Artists
AiiTee
AiiTee is a talented up and coming singer/songwriter based in Scotland. Originally from Nigeria, AiiTee’s style is a unique blend of Afrobeat, Soul, Gospel and R&B. She started releasing music at the start of 2020 and has seen her music grow from strength to strength.
She released her debut EP “Love Don’t Fall” in the summer of 2022 and has been featured on BBC Introducing in Scotland, BBC Introducing Asian Residency, Amazing Radio and has performed with the Voice’s Anne Marie and Scottish rapper Chef.
Nathan Somevi
Born in Ghana and raised in Scotland, Nathan Somevi is a versatile jazz, soul, gospel guitarist and producer known for adopting the Charlie Hunter Hybrid Guitar.
Nathan’s sound was developed playing in church where the focus was using music as a tool to bring people into a spiritual atmosphere. Whilst studying Martin Taylor, Joe Pass and Chalie Hunter, the technique was secondary to the purpose of the playing. Nathan has brought that ethos to his projects and most importantly his live performances. He has released two EPs, Can’t Be Done in 2020 and Brave in 2023 and is planning on releasing his third EP this year.
Nathan was nominated for Scottish Alternative Music Awards in 2021 and the Scottish Jazz Awards in 2023.
