About this Event
Join us for a free lunchtime lecture this October!
We'll be joined by Anna Vegh, who carried out a BIRCH Research Internship at the Garden this summer, as part of the Herbarium Holobiont project.
This interdisciplinary research internship utilised the Margaret Gatty seaweed collection, housed in the Herbarium at SABG, digitising these specimens and putting them into historical, economic and social context.
Anna will be discussing her findings from the collection, including a case study inspired by specimens from Sri Lanka.
This event will take place in our Boiler House and is free of charge - all welcome!
