As part of the BioBlitz day exploring wildlife on campus with the School of Anthropology and Conservation, the Music department presents a lunchtime concert celebrating the natural world in music and song, alongside image projections.
A pair of charming and colourful song-cycles by Richard Rodney Bennett, sung by the Cecilian Choir, frames a programme including some of this year's Music Scholars and Award Holders performing solo songs by Elgar, Fanny Mendelssohn-Hensel and Vaughan Williams.
The concert is open to all, families especially; come with us as we encounter ladybirds, a crow, a jay, a thrush, a fly, a widow-bird and more.
