22-year-old Chutong Cindy Yi is currently an honours piano student, studying under Australian pianist Caroline Almonte at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music. She has competed and participated in numerous competitions, receiving many awards, including First Prize in the Boroondara Eisteddfod Piano Concerto Award (2024) and Second Prize in the Melbourne International Piano and Strings Festival Competition (2021). She will perform works by Chopin, Beethoven, and Ravel.We hope you can join us! Entry by donation.

About our Lunchtime Concert Series:
A series of lunchtime concerts was launched in April 2013 to encourage city workers and others to come into and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the Cathedral during the day. These weekly concerts at 1pm on Wednesdays provide fine music and space for contemplation in the midst of a busy week.
