Join us for a period luncheon and look behind a Victorian lady's chamber door - clothing, "unmentionables," and more! What did ladies wear during the Victorian era? How many layers are under that dress? How did they use the restroom with all those clothes? How did they... (you know what you're wondering).
Join us at the museum for a proper period Victorian luncheon and Lori Danforth for an improper period Victorian program as she shows and tells the life of a Victorian woman that takes place behind her chamber door!
For those of you with a local interest, we'll stray from the Victorian era a moment or two as well to discuss Spirella Corset Company of Meadville (founded 1904), show an example, and answer any questions.
Parking is next door to the museum at Holland Hall with gravel path leading to the museum.
