The Humanities Section is hosting a special Salon on Tuesday Nov 12 starting at noon. Francoise Briet, a renowned French Chef, will prepare lunch for us and talk about the importance of a healthy diet as we age. She earned a PHD in nutrition from the René Descartes La Sorbonne and has recently written a lecture on this subject. You will be treated to a fabulous meal, which will include her famous chocolate cake, a preferred dessert at the French Consulate. Francoise has created a unique beer jelly condiment which we will sample as part of our lunch. She has kindly agreed to bring some extra pots which we can purchase after the meal. Join us for this event and invite a friend. It is a wonderful start to the holiday season! The cost is $35 per person (taxes included). Registration in advance is required as seating is limited.
