Please join us for a 'get-together' lunch with founder and director of Safe Spaces Nairobi, Peninah Nthenya Musyimi.
It has been a few years since Peninah visited The Netherlands and we are very excited that she is returning to connect / re-connect with us on 3 July 2022.
We look forward to the opportunity of chatting with her personally and also hearing about what Safe Spaces is presently doing to empower the girls in the Mathare slums of Nairobi. Covid hit everyone very hard and it was especially challenging for Peninah and her community. She is and will always be an inspiring warrior.

The Chef's selection for lunch includes a delicious spread of kimchi pumpkin soup, avocado with halloumi open sandwiches, ricotta with wild mushrooms & black garlic open sandwiches, fries and fudge with white chocolate mousse for dessert. A Welcome Drink, as well as coffee, tea, wine, and water are included. A cash bar is available for additional drinks at your own expense.

Restaurant Larette is generously donating their beautiful space to bring us all together, as well as preparing a delicious meal. A portion of the ticket sales will be donated directly to Safe Spaces. Additional donations to Safe Spaces are greatly appreciated, but not expected. This event is to connect, learn from and be inspired by Peninah.
