Lindsey Higbee Gunderson is a living testimony of grace. Once broken by addiction, loss, and pain, she now walks in freedom and purpose. Through her journey from incarceration to restoration, Lindsey discovered her true identity and now shares her story to bring light, faith, and encouragement to others still in the dark.She is the mother of four children—Taylor, Lacey, Levi, and Zachary—one of whom is in heaven. Lindsey is newly married to Derick Gunderson, her sweetheart from 23 years ago whom she thought she had lost. They live in Roberts, Idaho, on 13 acres alongside six dogs, eight cats, seven ducks, a rooster, and three hens. Three of their six children live with them. Lindsey is also a grandmother to seven grandchildren—five of her own and two from Derick—and is expecting another granddaughter.
Born in Texas and raised in Henderson and Las Vegas, Nevada, Lindsey is currently employed at the Idaho Falls Rescue Mission as the Women’s Ministries Supervisor. She is a Felony Drug Court graduate and lives a life of grace, free from shame, with the belief that God is good all the time.
