This week your friendly Lunch on the Lawn facilitators Crystal Robins & Ward Hancock are excited to entertain you with some of their own tunes!.
Darwin-born Ward Hancock has returned to his hometown after eight years of study in Melbourne and honing his musical skills all over Australia, and in Jamaica.
Having played in every one of Australia’s states and territories by age 23, Hancock’s career has been filled with highlights, supporting the likes of Courtney Barnett, Josh Pyke and Sir James Morrison.
Often compared to John Mayor, his stripped-back solo act moves effortlessly through genres like Reggae, Soul and Folk.

Crystal Robins brings her indie-folk and alt-country original songs to the Lunch on the Lawn stage.
As well as gigging regularly around Darwin’s local spots, Crystal has performed at festivals around Australia and supported touring artists including Wendy Matthews, Josh Pyke, Daniel Champagne, and Kingswood.
Crystal is now busily preparing for her debut full-length album release later this year, recorded and produced here in Darwin featuring a cast of NT artists.
