We have our 2nd lunch meeting of the brand new term coming up on May 21st! We will be chatting about upcoming projects, socials, goals for the term and much more, but most importantly welcoming our special guest, Naomi Castro!Naomi is the Patron and Community Engagement Coordinator at the Oregon Bach Festival, where she organizes free community events, facilitates corporate sponsorships, and manages program ad sales. Originally from Oahu, she moved to Eugene in 2018 after teaching K-12 choir for seven years to pursue a double masters in Choral Conducting and Voice Performance. Around town she can be found singing as the soprano section leader for Central Lutheran Church Chorale, and a frequent performer with the UO Musicking ensemble, Oregon Bach Collegium, Eugene Vocal Arts, and Eugene Symphony Chorus. Naomi also serves as a music/vocal director at Cottage Theatre, most recently conducting the pit for The Producers, and is the Chorusmaster for Eugene Opera. When she's not performing or in a rehearsal, she enjoys cooking or grabbing a drink at a local brewery/winery with her partner Dylan, and relaxing with her cat, Jabba.
