About this Event
About the series:
In Mark 12:29-30 Jesus tells us that the two greatest commandments are to “love God and love our neighbor.” Oftentimes when Christians apply this passage it only encompasses their personal life. In our 2023-24 Lunch + Learn series we will be looking at what it means to love our neighbor in our vocational lives. We will look at:
- Who are our neighbors at work?
- What does love look like in a corporate setting?
- What are practices we can build into our work to live out these truths?
In this session:
Join us for our final conversation of the 2023-24 Lunch + Learn series, “Who is my neighbor?”. This series is for believers in Chattanooga who desire to connect with other local Christians and begin to think together about how their daily work can be part of their service to God.
We're honored to close out the series with David and Natalie Martin, co-founders of Heed Public Relations, and Joseph Schlabs, director at Wizardly and owner of Cinderella Wedding Co. David, Natalie, and Joseph all work remotely and know both the joys and frustrations of being a remote employee. We'll hear how their faith shapes their posture of love in the workplace and what it means to each of them to love their neighbor in their daily work.
We hope to see you on May 9 at Cadence Coffee (downtown) from 11:30am - 1:00pm. Tickets are $15 and include lunch.
