Have you ever been to one of Anderson’s Century Farms? These are farms that have been in one family for at least 100 years in Anderson County. Bring your lunch on May 6, at noon, to the Anderson County Museum to hear first-hand from one of our farm families. Michael Shirley and his sons will be here to tell us about the farm and how they support it. Part of their work is building fences “the old school way” with none of the hydraulic equipment many use today. Come and learn about their “Back to Basics style of life.”
