ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

This lunch and learn is designed to help life sciences founders to prepare a successful NIH SBIR application for the April 5 omnibus deadline. Participants will develop a checklist of what they need to do, understand key components of the call, go over questions, sticking points, and issues related to their NIH SBIR grant application.

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP LEADER

Kumar Subramanian is a serial entrepreneur and experienced executive with broad experience in life sciences, biotechnology and medical devices. He has successfully raised funding from non-dilutive sources as well as from Angels, VCs and Corporate Partners. Kumar has been a PI on SBIR projects funded by DARPA, US ARMY, NSF and NIH. He has also served on NIH SBIR review panels for over a decade and chaired a NIH SBIR review panel for two years. Kumar brings the perspective of both an applicant and the reviewer.
