About this Event
Join us for an informal special Lunch & Learn with Col. Michael Caldwell, Senior Director of Operations & Veteran Engagement at the National Medal of Honor Museum.
Learn more about the Medal of Honor, the nation’s highest military award, and the new National Medal of Honor Museum in Arlington, TX.
Discover the remarkable stories of bravery shown by the Black Seminole Indian Scouts, recruited by the U.S. Army. Four of these scouts—Adam Paine, Pompey Factor, Isaac Payne, and John Ward—were awarded the Medal of Honor for their courageous actions against hostile Apache forces along the Texas–Mexico border.
This program offers a unique opportunity to explore an often-overlooked chapter of American history and honor the legacy of these extraordinary men.
