About Amanda Herandez


Amanda Bammer graduated from San Jose State where she received her B.S. in Microbiology. She later joined Agilent in 2014 as an Inside Sales Representative supporting the Bay Area field sales team. In 2017, she transitioned into an Account Manager role covering Agilent’s chromatography and mass spec instrumentation, helping customers determine the best system for their application. LinkedIn


About Rocio Gomez


Rocio Gomez grew up in the bay area where she currently resides. She is an avid runner and snowboarder. She is also the Account Manager for the Cell Analysis division. She supports liquid handling, detection, imaging, Seahorse, xCelligence, and Novocyte Flow Cytometry. She enjoys helping labs create streamlined workflows so they can focus more on their research questions. LinkedIn


About Jose Meza


Jose Meza grew-up and attended school in the Los Angeles Area – a proud graduate of the Compton Unified School District (Centennial Senior High School). After graduating from high school, he attended Long Beach State University where he got his BS degree in Biochemistry. After graduating college, Jose started a PhD program at UC Berkeley in the Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology. Under the direction of Mary-Claire King he completed his PhD thesis - his work focused on the biophysical characterization of the BRCA1 protein. Jose continued to enhance his analytical and Mass Spec skills following graduate school with a 2-year post-doc in Al Burlingame’s lab at UCSF- where his work focused on the characterization of the Estrogen Receptor’s DNA-binding domain by Mass Spectrometry. After his post-doc, Jose joined Agilent as an application chemist and spent ~10 years engaging with Biopharma customers helping them develop/advance their research. In his current role as a mass spec specialist, his primary responsibility is to help guide our customers with their research/application goals via our various Agilent mass spec solutions/workflows.
