Join us for the next installation of our monthly Lunch and Learn series on Friday, August 23rd from 12:30-1:30pm, held in the event space at Meals on Wheels (1411 Columbia Avenue, Lancaster).
This month's guest organization is Advoz: a local non-profit whose mission is to provide conflict mediation, restorative practices, and education to transform personal and structural conflicts into constructive actions and resilient relationships. They envision an empowered community that engages diversity, embraces differences, and promotes collaboration and justice. To learn more about the work that they do, please visit their website.
Each month in this series features a menu prepared by Meals on Wheels. The menu is derived from our home-delivered meals menu that we serve our clients. The Lunch and Learns will be a fundraiser where 50% of the proceeds are shared with the presenting organization. Tickets are $20/ea. We do accept cash/checks.
This series is intended to offer community members, nonprofits, and professionals an opportunity to network over a Friday lunch and to learn about local organizations and initiatives.
