Join us for an inspiring afternoon of upcycled weaving with artist πππ₯π¬ππ² πππ«π«πππ€ πππ π§ππ«!During this lunch-and-learn, Kelsey will share insights into her creative process, her community-focused approach, and the sustainability themes that drive her work. Sheβll also talk about her recent exhibits and residencies in Thailand and Malaysia, as well as two co-curated projects completed as part of her Ph.D. dissertation.
Kelsey will bring samples of her artwork and a rigid heddle loom for a brief demonstration of her weaving practice.
Sheβs always on the lookout for recycled materialsβif you have plastic bags, wire, or old clothing, feel free to bring them along!
