As special guests, the library welcomes a team of certified lactation consultants from the Putnam County Health Department who are eager to share their expertise with patrons of any age. The goal here is to normalize breastfeeding in community spaces, teach basic truths about breastfeeding in a child-friendly way, offer support and encouragement to parents, and celebrate breastfeeding as natural, loving, and important.
